STINGRAY TAIL (Pacific Rim contest entry)

This is the STINGRAY TAIL a Brazilian MK #4 Jaeger that has had some upgrades to be reactivated, with heavier armor and a body shell, its function is to make rescues and to support faster Jaegers. When I created it my main design inspiration was the "Caveirão" a popular armored car used by the battalion of special police operations. The name STINGRAY TAIL in Portuguese "Rabo de arraia" is the name of a capoeira blow.

The site of the clash is the center of the city of Novo Hamburgo in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
